Peach Sangria

Generally, I'm not much of a sangria drinker. I like wine on occasion, but most of the time I prefer beer and cocktails. My boyfriend Teddy is usually the same way, but out of the blue last week he asked if we could make some peach sangria. I figured it would be a nice drink to sip on, so we looked up a bunch of different recipes on Pinterest. None of them were even remotely the same. There were some with vodka, some with peach schnapps, all had different kinds of white wine and one even used white zin. In the end we decided to make our own recipe, and I think it came out pretty good.

Ingredients:
1 bottle of white wine (we used sauvignon blanc once and chardonnay once, both were good)
1 cup of peach schnapps
1/2 cup of peach nectar
1/2 liter of lemon lime soda (we used sprite once and squirt once, I think I preferred the sprite)
1 peach, sliced

We put everything into an old lemonade container and put it in the fridge for a few hours before drinking. The drink is very good but the peaches themselves are AMAZING. I would just make the peaches in the future for a nice boozy snack.

  4. That looks fabulous! We make a sangria with whatever white wine is cheapest, whatever brandy is cheapest, some sugar, and some club soda. Then we add in whatever fruit we want - over the 4th of July that was mainly strawberries and mangoes. So good!
